St. Francis De Sales School, Guwahati conducted a Security Staff Training Session on 5 October 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to strengthen the professional conduct, discipline and preparedness of the school’s security team. The session was conducted by Cpt. (Retd.) Ramesh Ch. Shill of NG & Security Service (Ex-Servicemen).
The training focused on essential aspects of marshalling, personal grooming, appropriate dressing and professional behaviour. The Resource Person highlighted the importance of maintaining a smart and disciplined appearance, remaining alert and vigilant while on duty, and communicating with students, staff, parents and visitors with courtesy and professionalism. Emphasis was also placed on responsible conduct at duty points, adherence to security procedures and maintaining a safe and orderly environment within the school premises.
The session was attended by the security team of the school, including Gopal Singh, Lokbahadur Chetry, Eam Bahadur, Rajkumar Singh and Jeti Tapanu. Through practical guidance and focused discussion, the participants were encouraged to approach their responsibilities with greater confidence, discipline and attentiveness.
The training reinforced the important role of the security team in ensuring the safety, security and smooth functioning of the school campus. The session concluded with a renewed emphasis on vigilance, professional conduct and a strong sense of responsibility towards the school community.
